THE TAP HOUSE is an award-winning beachfront restaurant and bar with multiple locations, such as club vista mare, Souk al bahar and dubai hills. Its proud parent organization, The Royal Orchid Hospitality Group, tapped Aces of Space to serve up a design upgrade providing a functional and distinct framework when turning THE TAP HOUSE concept into a budding franchise with new locations across the U.A.E.
THE CONCEPT
The concept of THE TAP HOUSE as a haven for friends and family who like to get together in a beer-themed venue was already a proven success, so the focus of Aces of Space was on upgrading it to a more holistic, immersive community experience that can be recreated at various locations. The design itself was mainly inspired by the micro-brewery universe and its typically artisanal feel.
THE CHALLENGE
THE TAP HOUSE promises its punters a lively experience during the daytime and at night, so the interior design had to be 24h-proof and suitable for breakfast hangouts, family lunches, cozy dinners, romantic dates and everything in between. The Royal Orchid Hospitality Group prides itself on its exceptional services and products par excellence, so the design had to elevate the craft beer inspiration to a level that matches these high standards, attracting a local and international audience.
DESIGN DETAILS
The prominent beer kegs above the bar immediately immerse visitors in the micro-brewery-inspired concept of the design. They are a recurring design feature at every THE TAP HOUSE location. The mirror wall with metal structure adds a cool industrial note to the artisanal design flavor.
