Meet crew member Tommy

Hi, I’m Tommy, the Sustainability Advisor at ACES of SPACE.

I help our designers see that their role goes beyond making things look cool—it’s about understanding the environmental and social impact of every project. More importantly, I want them to feel excited about pushing boundaries and stepping outside their comfort zones.

The best advice I’ve ever gotten? “Be like water.” Studying Taoism in Shanghai taught me to embrace change, stay flexible, and adapt—wisdom that keeps me balanced in both life and work.

If I could time-travel for artistic inspiration, I’d visit Singapore across the decades—from the 1960s to today. It’s one of the few cities that successfully increased green space, improved quality of life, and transitioned toward clean energy—all while growing rapidly. I’d love to meet the visionaries behind its transformation.

Outside of Aces, you’ll find me running, gardening, or belting out Dutch sing-alongs (yes, Brabant by Guus Meeuwis is on my playlist). And when I’m home? I’m mixing tracks on my Pioneer XDJ, getting lost in the music, blending my favorite tracks.
