Hey there, I’m John, the Project Architect at Aces.
My job kicks in at the last stage of the design process. Basically, when a project lands on my desk, I make sure everything gets built as we designed it from start to finish. Whenever something pops up, I handle it like an Ace!! (or at least I try to!).
My iPhone is my secret weapon. I’m on it all day, coordinating stuff, snapping site photos, and sharing important info. It’s my multitasking MVP.
Best advice I’ve ever gotten? “If you fail to plan, you’re planning to fail.” Pretty sure one of my old mentors dropped that wisdom bomb on me. And the best advice I’d give to someone wanting to join the team? Stay hungry. Not just for food (though food is awesome), but for information. Whatever your role, keep learning. And yeah, also stay hungry for food, LOL.
To get in the zone, I need music. When I need to focus, music (and coffee) are my go-tos. I’m usually jamming to Bon Jovi to pump me up, kind of like that ‘Get Psyched Mix’ from Barney Stinson. Fun fact: I actually have that playlist on Spotify. True story
